ABOUT RACHEL VICTORIA
…
creative projects driven by relationships and authenticity
It all started with a pastel pink Canon gifted to me one Christmas by my grandparents. My grandma was a professional photographer (she had even been offered a job with Vogue in her younger years, but turned it down to raise her kids), and bought the toy to encourage my curiosity of the art. By the New Year I had a memory card filled with portraits of my grandpa, landscape shots of our shrubbery, and digital documentation of every place my cat had lounged in our backyard that week.
From that point on, I took my camera everywhere; not a single field trip or family gathering went unarchived.
I find fulfillment in taking what may otherwise be an ordinary moment and honing in on the details that make it beautiful. Life has so many moments to appreciate; let’s cherish them.
